Everything Rewound sells lives here in this deliberate, curated collection. Retro phones and retro speakers, styled after the eras that shaped us, running on Bluetooth underneath, deliver the modern functionality that combines today with the past we all know and love.

If you’ve seen physical phones turning up on your feed and wondered whether anything like that actually exists in Australia, this is it – an Australian range of genuinely functional retro tech.

This isn’t nostalgia for its own sake. Retro tech fits neatly into the growing shift toward digital minimalism, choosing what actually deserves your attention instead of letting a screen decide for you and pull you in twenty different directions.

A retro phone that only rings, a retro speaker that only plays what you put on it, no feed, no notifications, no reason to check it every five minutes. (We suspect you won’t only gain a statement piece for your mantlepiece or desk, but a little part of your sanity back as well.)

We keep the range small and considered rather than cluttered. If you’re after something specific, start by filtering by collection. If you’re not sure yet, have a browse, everything here has already made it past our three in-house tests: 1) “would we actually use this ourselves”, 2) “will it still be useable and relevant in five years time” and 2) “is it likely to evoke joyful nostalgia”?
