A working cassette deck in the middle, twin speakers either side, and an aerial that pulls up higher than it needs to – this unit is 1980s retro tech at it’s finest. Tapes still play, both sides, four bands of radio across a printed frequency scale, FM, AM and two shortwave, plus Bluetooth 5.0 and USB or card playback for everything recorded since. Battery-powdered is an option, and at 32.5cm across it has the presence the shape always had.
