Product FAQ for Retro Bluetooth Phone

Are these real vintage phones, or new products?
Brand new products, always. Every Rewound product is manufactured today, with the goal of looking like it wasn’t. Our curated collection of retro phones and speakers is not to be confused with second-hand, refurbished, or vintage stock.
Yes. These are genuinely functional Bluetooth phones, not decorative replicas. Real mechanical dial, proper handset weight, rechargeable battery, and a working phone underneath the shell.
Yes. It pairs with any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, iPhone or Android, in about ten seconds, the same way your headphones do.
Turn the retro phone on, hold the pairing button in the middle of the dial for a few seconds until the light flashes, then find it in your phone’s Bluetooth settings and select it. Full pairing instructions come in the box, and each product page has a pairing guide specific to that model. It’s easier than it sounds, we promise.
Both. It’s a proper Bluetooth speaker as well as a phone. Tap the play/pause button on the front and it streams whatever’s playing on your phone, calls automatically take over if one comes in, then your music picks back up where it left off once you hang up.
Yes. Press and hold the button on the back and it wakes up your phone’s own voice assistant, so you can ask for directions, set a reminder, or check the weather without touching your phone.
At launch, our phones come in black and cream. We’ve deliberately kept the range tight rather than offering ten colourways of everything, we’d rather do two properly than ten indifferently.

Ordering & Payment

Where do you ship & how much does it cost?

Rewound was built to supply customers in Australia with a quality retro tech. For this reason, all orders in Australia are shipped free or charge, regardless of your order size or postcode.


International shipping is also available. Shipping rates for international orders are calculated at the time of checkout.

We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1 business day of ordering. Most orders arrive within 10 to 15 days, depending on your location. Click here for full Shipping Information →

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow it the whole way. 

 

Please note, if you order more than 1 item, items may be shipped from different warehouses, so may not arrive on the same day. 

Rewound doesn’t see or store your card details at any point. Payments are handled directly by our payment provider, who specialises in exactly this and carries their own security and encryption standards.

If you catch it quickly, yes, email us straight away and we’ll do our best to change or cancel before it’s packed and handed to our supplier for dispatch. Once it’s shipped, we’re not able to make changes, but you’re welcome to return it under our Returns Policy →

You’ll get a confirmation email within minutes of ordering. If you don’t see it, have a check of your spam or junk folder before getting in touch, that’s usually where it’s hiding.

Returns Information

What's your returns policy?
You’ve got 14 days from delivery to return anything that’s not right for you.
If something’s faulty or we’ve made an error, that’s on us. If you’ve simply changed your mind, the return shipping cost is yours.
